Cigars and airport security (Urgent)?

I'm Flying from the Dominican republic to miami Fl tomorrow morning, I'm wondering if i take Vegafina mini cigars in my carry on will they will ask me to open my bag? The cigars come in an aluminum box square and they are opened. Im flying with family that don't know i smoke. Thanks guys :)
