Is it legally ok for me to take someones video from their facebook and put it on my youtube?

Here's my opinion on the situation: Let it go. I know bullying is not okay and that high school can sometimes be down right brutal for the victims of bullying. I also think schools and parents need to do more to stop bullying. You're all out of high school now and [hopefully] grown up a bit. They've probably forgotten about the video by now anyways. Besides, a background check typically doesn't involve searching youtube or simply typing in someones name into a search engine. It's done through the court system. And another problem if an employer simply typed a name into a search engine is proving they've found the right person. How many people have the exact same name as the bullies? With a background check, employers have access to other things (birthdates, social security number, etc) to verify that they have the right person. So your plan is basically pointless.
