Why wont windows live work or Open?

Ok i have an Inspiron mini netbook that i got last summer, and i love making movies. So Movie Maker worked for a longtime and it wasn't until the Windows Live Essentials Update 2011 that it stopped working. I have tried so many things but nothing works. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
